Catching a 2 1/2 lb bass on the hidden lake we have discovered. It will be one of those places we hold near and dear to our hearts because if people over fished it and took them we wouldn't be able to get the Big Ones!

I'm proud of my fisherman, he just started second grade and is a Joy! So, tomorrow will be another day of fishing for us because now that school is in session he's only allowed fishing on the weekends. That is until it gets too cold! I do have my limits.

Fishing this summer!

This Picture if of Chase showing me what he'd look like if he had a winning fish!

So, here it goes, long time no posts. . . even though the two of you follow me on Facebook!

Chase has had a wonderful summer of fishing! Pretty much after work that's what we do. He has caught his largest bass to date, 5 lbs, and now officially has THE BITE OF THE BASS!! Bluegill just don't do it for him anymore. He will go ahead and catch bluegill if there is nothing else, but he prefers the Big Daddy s!

He really wants to fish the 50 states, so far we have Massachusetts and Ohio checked off that list! Anywhere there is a lake, Chase is willing to try.

Today was quite stressful because we got the opportunity to use our friend's row boat and go out onto the lake. Chase loved it, but I was so stressed out trying to figure out how to use the trolling motor and not hit anything. . .whew was I glad when that was over. Chase's only complaint was the life jacket hindered his casting. He did fine, 7 small bass. Go figure, while I'm trying to figure out how to get the boat into the back of the truck -- BY MYSELF-- no, I don't know what I was thinking -- he casts out to the normal area he fishes from shore and catches 2 more bass. I told him once a year on a boat was fine, but I'm only relaxed when we are on the shore!

He had quite a few bites and one was big that he was reeling in and all of a sudden it threw it's head back and the line went flying into the boat. Then we were coasting along and a Huge Bass jumped right out of the water at the front of the boat and I said "holy ****", and Chase goes "mom at times like this can I say **** too cuz it scared me to death". . .needless to say I won't be saying that again, not that I should've in the first place!!

I've realized I use a lot of exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chase hates it when I say "Be the Bass". . . I say it so when he's making a decision he and starts with "I don't know what I want, etc. . . and driving me crazy with indecisiveness I say "Be the Bass". . . Pounce on what you want don't just nibble it like a sunfish. Bass strike, Sunfish play with your mind. . .BE THE BASS--I think I need to take that advice in my own life, sure would make a lot of things easier. I also don't allow Chase to complain while fishing because it's the one place where if you love it you should be happy whether catching the fish or not!

2/4/2013

So, I have 2 followers now:0). . . Hi Deb and Tracy!!

I got my big box of containers and tonight I finally started piecing together my project. . . when Chase saw that big box of containers he said "Mom, you sure did get a lot of bug jars". . .Not bug jars Chase, but close! I have titled this 2/4/2013 because that is the date that I have given myself to get one or two of my inventions on the market. I am bound and determined to take all of my thinking and turn it into real tangible products that other kids can also enjoy. Chase very much enjoys all that I create that is why I'd like to start a line called "Chase's World". My other blog is chasesworld7.blogspot.com, if you are interested! I started drilling tonight and sewing and kinda know what I'm doing! I only have a couple of samples of each of my containers so I have to make sure I don't destroy them! I hope to get the project done and then I'm going to have Chase start beta-testing it. I just got a holder sewn for my girls I nanny for and they will start beta-testing it on Wednesday. I'm telling you I am so determined I have given myself this date AND I don't sleep--my mind is like a spinning top!
I got another Dove Chocolate fortune last week and it said "Obstacles are NOT unbreakable". . .so that one is in my phone case also.

Have a good night and I know I should write more about what I'm doing, but I can't because then someone with more money than me might steal it:0)!!

excitement

Got an e-mail last night that Fed-Ex is shipping my huge package of plastic containers. Let me back up. . . I came up with an awesome idea last week and finally found a company who has the containers that I want, so I got to order SAMPLES, oh boy did I have fun!! I could've ordered hundreds of plastic containers, but I think I only ordered 20+. So, my idea will need a huge container and several little ones. I still can't post what it is, but I am very hopeful for it!! It doesn't matter if I post what it is or not cuz at this point, no one is reading this.

Can't wait for that package of containers to get here and get started on my project. . . WHOOOHOOO! Have a wonderful day and enjoy the sunshine, well, at least it's sunny here in MA!

My Dove Chocolate Fortune

So, I opened my Dove Chocolate Caramel and was excited to read my fortune. It said "Chase Your Dreams". I thought wow! that's is really what I need to read right now. So, I cut it out of the wrapper and placed it in the back of my iphone behind my clear cover. Now when I have my phone I always see my "fortune".

I have so many ideas and thoughts, so now I'm going to start to "Chase them"!! How appropriate that my son's name is Chase, so he can be blogged about to. He is 7 and has so many dreams, so we'll chase them too!! I bet most of them will be about fishing, the ocean or some kind of animal adventure.

Since I read my fortune, I haven't been able to sleep much! I always have my mind spinning, sometimes so much I get dizzy:0)!! I have started on a few ideas and I'm constantly writing and re-working my ideas in my notebook. It goes where I go, just in case inspiration hits. I also use my iphone notepad. . .then transfer it into my notebook.

I really want my ideas to come true and work them out. My girls I nanny for are going to be my "beta-testers" for my first really thought out idea. I can't say what it is because then I'd have to shoot you!! JUST KIDDING. . .but seriously if you took my idea I'd have to hurt you. I called a patent office and they wanted to charge me $600 to search the internet and see if my idea is out there. Trust me it's not because if anyone can find it on the internet it's me!! Just some deep searching on Google produced nothing. So, there may be some items out there that do the same thing as my invention, but not nearly as convenient or cool!

Really don't know why I started a blog. . . Maybe one day I'll become famous and can sell the rights to it!! I plan to have an invention on the market by the time I'm 40--I'd better get cracking cuz I'm 37!!

I just enjoy inventing things for Chase that make his life easier and LOTS more fun! I'm so happy we live in Massachusetts so he gets to be near the ocean. He loves those "Tide-Pools" so much. I love it when he talks fast and calls them "Tad-pole's". . . I don't have the heart to correct him. I miss Ohio, because of my friends and family, but I always dreamed about raising my son in such a great state and having the city of Boston within an arms reach. So, I've chased that dream, now to chase more. . .

Chase Your Dreams List: Which can be added to at will--my prerogative, it's my Blog:0):

Is it bad that I started to write this list and it looked Cheesy?? Hey, it's my list, so here goes:

1. Marry a wonderful man--sometimes he is:0)
2. Have a child who is happy and content--which is true most of the time
3. Live in Boston--well, we do live 20 minutes outside of it. . . it amazes me how many people don't realize what they are near and all the opportunities that are offered.
4. Have an invention on the market by the time I'm 40--I have 2 1/2 years to go
5. Find someone to believe in my inventions
6. Be able to prove that my inventions are worthwhile
7. To get famous off this blog--just kidding. . .
8. Live, Laugh and Love
9. To take Chase to fish the 50 states--he really wants to fish Alaska, that's where the salmon
are.
10. Many more dreams to be listed at a later date and time!!

I hope to add my ideas on here, so if you have any questions ask, I may be able to answer it!!
If not I can get the answer. . .

Chase, I love you with all my heart and remember to "chase your dreams".
